Privacy Policy

Trusted Nomad is a service for finding local specialists through Telegram. This policy explains what information may be used for search, local expert requests, service submissions and feedback.

Information you choose to share

This may include your Telegram account details, your location, the person or service you need, relevant context, recommendations you submit, and public professional contact details you choose to submit.

How information is used

• To understand and respond to your request.
• To find relevant recommendations.
• To prepare requested local expert support and provide support.
• To correct outdated service information and handle feedback.
• To prevent misuse and keep the service reliable.

When information is shared

Submit only professional service details intended for public use, or details you have permission to share. Personal information provided for a local expert request should only be shared as needed to fulfil that request and with appropriate permission. Information may also be handled by service providers needed to operate Trusted Nomad, or disclosed where the law requires it.

Storage and deletion

Information should be kept only for as long as it is needed to provide the service, resolve issues, meet legal obligations, or prevent abuse. You can ask to access or delete your information.

Website analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics”, we use PostHog Cloud EU for page views and selected interactions, and Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings. These services help us understand which pages and buttons are useful and where people get stuck.

PostHog session recording is disabled. We do not send search text or advertising-form answers in our PostHog events. Search and form fields are masked for Clarity, so the text entered in them is not uploaded in recordings. Both services may use browser storage and cookies to recognise a browser. Clarity receives analytics consent but not advertising-storage consent. You can change your choice at any time through “Analytics settings”.

Launch waitlist

If you join the launch waitlist, we use your email to send a confirmation and one announcement when Trusted Nomad launches. Joining does not subscribe you to a newsletter. You may also provide your Telegram username; it is optional and is not required to receive these emails. Waitlist details, the page you joined from and the date of your request are stored in Brevo. To leave the list or request deletion, email hello@trustednomad.io.

Advertising enquiries

Advertising enquiries are handled by email. Clicking an email link opens your email app; it does not send a message automatically. If you send a proposal to hello@trustednomad.io, we use the details you include to respond to your enquiry.

Telegram

Messages sent through Telegram are also governed by Telegram’s own terms and privacy practices. Trusted Nomad does not control Telegram’s systems.

Your choices

You can stop using the bot at any time, withdraw a request, report a listing, or ask that your personal information not be shared. Trusted Nomad does not sell personal information.
